After having lived in New York City for a good portion of his adult life, Abel Macias packed and relocated to Los Angeles, which seems to be a good visual match with his artwork. Rooted in and inspired by handmade Mexican folk art, desolate landscapes and everyday objects, Abel Macias seemed to have found his own earthly colour palette.
